SUMMARY:America 250 Lecture - Resolutions and Reality: Life in the Revolutionary Era Greenbrier Valley
DESCRIPTION:Free to the public! \nJoin us for an engaging public lecture by Dr. Sarah McCartney of the College of William & Mary as she explores the 1775 Botetourt and Fincastle Resolutions—early calls for liberty often seen as precursors to the United States Declaration of Independence—and life in the Greenbrier Valley\, particularly highlighting women’s experiences during the Revolutionary era. With roots in the Renick area\, she brings both expert insight and a meaningful local connection to this pivotal chapter in American history.
