Archives Volunteers: They work closely with our Assistant Archivist Karly Watts and Jane Hughes, our head archival volunteer. There are many tasks available to work on depending on your interests.
• Scanning Marriage Bonds
• Sorting Business files & making folders
• Separating Courthouse documents
• PastPerfect Data Entry
• Typing up transcriptions that have been handwritten
• Labeling Marriage returns
• Assisting with answering research requests
• Collecting articles from newspapers for our subject vertical files
We have a number of Committees that you can serve on depending on your interest. Descriptions of these committees are below in a PDF for you to look through. Committees meet generally quarterly or as needed and support the major aspects of the work we do at the museum. Fiscal Committee, Building & Grounds Committee, Archives Committee, Collections Committee, Education Committee.
